This was AP2011

The augmented reality event Augmented Planet 2011 was held on June 1 and 2. It was a great event with a bit of everything.
The organisers did a really good job, were satisfied and kept their promises. There were roughly 100 people on the first day. Slightly less on second day -- and I do not blame the drinks in the evening for this.

Samsung bada was strongly involved in this event. We were main sponsor (gold), helped the guys from Augmented Planet in organisation and execution of the event, did some MC'ing, joined the podium discussion and most importantly Keith and I presented some bada stuff and AR activities that are going on on our platform. Specifically these are AiRaid and SARI -- the Samsung AR Imaging SDK. We are currently producing videos about these presentations and will report about these soon in the SAMMI blog.

Below are the organisers Lester and Nitin celebrating -- after the event of course ;)
Cheer up, guys, you deserve it!
