Hi folks, great to be back after the festive break (and will never even look at a Mince Pie again!). Slightly unexpected results in this weeks top five free Samsung Wave apps chart - not how I thought it would of looked at all!

- BBC NEWS AND SPORT - Samsung Mobile UK
pool by Mobile Pie Ltd is back in the top spot with the most downloads over the festive period, with the rest bringing up the rear. Magic App's seem to be trying out the "freemium" model, with the new Magic Torch Premium - for a measly £1 you can now get a strobe (yes, a STROBE) on your Wave by simply purchasing this app. Interesting to see none of the bada developer challenge apps on this list - I thought they would of been firm favourites for quite some time!
